You don’t have to win all your fights. But you have to fight all your fights

Has there ever been a time in your life where you felt that what has been asked of you was too much? and you chose to not accept and let the moment pass you by? But then when the moment did pass, you felt guilt or wished you had tried.

Me too.

When super successful people talk about how they became successful, it all comes down to the same thing, just said differently.

They have fought every fight dealt to them, knowing that the win wasn't what mattered, but the fact that they showed up doing the best they could was more important.

You will not win every fight. But if you can show up for the battle knowing you are going to give it your all then you will come out with a win. Maybe not on the record books, but you will prove to yourself you are capable of more than you thought.

That fight will look different depending on what you are doing in your life. Maybe your a salesmen and your fights are knocking on doors. knowing that you may have 99 out of 100 doors slammed in your face.

Maybe your fight is dating, finding your partner in life. Knowing that the only way to meet someone great is to put yourself out there, and probably have a bunch of awkward, crappy dates along the way.

You will not win every fight. But will every lost fight, you are one step closer to a victory.

But you have to fight. If you don't, well then it's an automatic loss. And you will have not learned more than that you were too fearful to step up to battle.

It may hurt, you will probably bruise your ego. You will feel a bit embarrassed. But you put yourself on the line and will find success from a lesson learned. Somewhere.
