TGIF: There's gifts in Fridays

As of late, fridays have become a reflective day for me. I ask myself a multitude of questions:

What more can I accomplish compared to this last week?

Where did I show up as my best self? How can I do that more?

When did I act negatively? How would the best version of myself act?

Is there something I can do next week to improve my happiness? Is there something I can do today?


I am actively moving away from "Thank god its Friday" to embrace that every day is our life. There is no rushing through to get to life. This IS it. So why not take moments to be aware of the present to see where you are at, how you are feeling, and where you are hoping to be.



I am human and far from perfect at this. I complain and blame and sometimes overexplain. But I am growing. And working toward being actively aware about how I am perceiving the situations I run into.


Our emotions are not controlled, but we can control how we perceive them and determine if they will be negative feelings, or productive feelings.


Change your attitude and you'll change the course of the moment, day and your life.



Love your Friday, but love your life even more
