Test day

There are days where it feels like the world is using you as a punching bag.
One blow after another.
And on days like that, no one would judge you for feeling down on yourself and just tuck your head him and survive the day.
But.
There is another perspective to be had.
This is the day the world/universe/God/Karma is testing you to see how much you have grown from the last time you've been through the ringer.
Can you handle the hits better than you used to be able to? Can you let the troubles go a little more easily?
Can you find something neutral that happened? or even better, something beneficial that happened?
It is so easy to sit in the suck. But when you sit in it, you will only ever see the suck around you.
What if, even if you can't get out of the suck, you can stand on the suck. Because standing gives you views beyond the mud puddle you just fell into.
We know the world isn't all a mud puddle. Weather is different depending on where you are.
And weather effects you depending on how you view it.
Are you going to sit in the mud?
Or are you going to see all of the reservoirs filling with water its been in desperate need of in this drought?
It's a test day. And there is no set score you have to hit. No one will know how well you succeeded.
But compete. Compete with your old self and challenge yourself. Because you know there is a better version you could be.
What if instead of looking back at how you could've handled things, you instead did what your best self would do. Right now.
Nothing is perfect, no one is perfect. But accept the test. Stand up and look around.
You might be surprised on the rainbows that appear out of the mud.
