In a perfect world, what would you do as your career? No limits!

What do you want to do? So do it. Even if it’s not at the scale you want long term, start doing it.
In my perfect world I would be paid to be locked in a library to just learn and read and research day in and day out. Then produce articles or blogs or entries similar to this based off of what I have learned.
It could be about health and wellness. Or how to properly strength train as a triathlete. Or learn more about the brain in relation to human behavior. Or trauma effecting people's emotional responses. Or how people are manipulated or suggested into buying products.
The list could go on for pages. I love to learn. I love to discover.
I want to get into research.
So start researching. And blogging. I don't have a degree that will easily get me into my dream career. But I can start here, will my blog. Share my voice here. Share what I have learned about here. This will feel small, insignificant even.
Until it's not.
Until I have complied so many blog posts about interesting topics of research I enjoy that I can eventually turn this from a passion project into something financially worth it.
And I am not intimidated to voice this dream. Not on here. Not to those who ask.
I do not know what that career will look like which is so exciting!!
I believe it will be something so grand its unimaginable at the current moment.
What it will take is far more effort and consistency on my part. I was great at writing daily in the spring. This summer I let it fall to the way-side.
What this means for me is more self-accountability and effort. I may have to take nights after my regular work day to put in the time to research/read/learn in order to create an output on here that is meaningful and important to me.
I am committed and excited to see what this platform and lead me to. I may have only 5 readers each MONTH today. But by the time I have created consistent momentum, this will turn into something beyond my limited imagination.
It will grow.
I just need to give it the love, attention and patience to allow for it to do so.
