Every penny is heads up: embrace the signs and do it

Whether you are a devote religious practitioner, atheist, or simply a spiritual being, you have seen signs to make a big move. And you either trusted it, did it. Or you second guessed it and chose not to act.

I've been in Utah all summer. Ever since I got into the car to head west, every penny I have seen has been heads up. It start with my mom finding one on the ground, handing it to me for good luck.

I dumped my entire wallet on the target floor. All 5 pennies that fell out were all heads up.

I could've ignored these moments. Chalked them up as nothing, or just a coincidence. Nothing to think twice about.

But pennies are the classic sign of good luck. When you find a penny heads up, it's a bit fun to think of all the good luck that is going to come your way. So I leaned into it and accepted that luck is on my side.

Utah has been wonderful. I love it here. And I think the universe continues to tell me that this is a space for me. And the pennies are a regular reminder that good things will happen for me here.

I contemplated my move here, full time. And although tempted to never return to Chicago in August, uproot my life, find a new job last minute and break a lease, I decided the spontaneity wasn't going to be that practical. I decided my original plan to return in the fall, finish out my year in IL and most likely move in the following summer made the most practical sense.

I decided it officially Saturday morning.

Saturday afternoon, as I started my trek back from Bryce, I saw my first tails penny. In 5 weeks.

So what does that say? It could say a lot. Is this something I should listen to? Maybe. But maybe not.

I do know that I have 6 weeks left here that I will continue living to the fullest. Enjoy my time and know that the best is yet to come.

Listen to the signs. Trust what the world is showing you. Everything works out as it should, and for your best interest. I am trusting that.
